About the course
The Queen's Gambit is one of the oldest chess openings and characterized by the following first moves: 1.d4 d5 2.c4. With the first moves, white is aiming to take control of the center whereas black can accept or decline the gambit depending if the plays the move 4....dxc4 or not. In this course we will focus on the accepted as well as on the declined variations of this opening. The Queen's Gambit is in these days a common used opening and it remains an important part of many grandmasters opening repertoires.
